Mission Statement TAG Projects is a community of emerging artists, based in NYC. We curate and self-produce exhibitions in a wide range of venues and organize a monthly art discussion group. We focus on conceptually ambitious work that energizes the contemporary art scene as well as the larger community. Structure TAG Projects is organized and promoted and by Derick Melander with with help from an advisory board consisting of Tim Kent and John Silvis. Anyone who participates in an exhibition is considered a TAG artist, and the work shown is (eventually) displayed here. There are many regular attendees and contributors, but no official members as individual involvement tends to ebb and flow over the years. |
